The scent
Steam-distilled from the small seeds of the celery plant, a tall, leafy plant with tiny white flowers. The scent is green and earthy, with a warm, faintly spicy depth and a sweetness that comes through as it settles.
It sits well beside lavender, and a bright citrus such as bergamot gives it lift. An unusual green note for a sunny windowsill on a spring morning.
