What we collect and why
Your basket stays on your device. When you choose to open the official shop, the products and quantities are sent to it.
We keep a record of your cookie choice, with the date, the wording you saw and the advertising partners it named, to show that we asked.
We count, anonymously, the baskets opened on the official shop and what they hold, to improve the site. You can switch this off in Cookie settings.
The anonymous statistics hold no personal data.
This site uses no advertising cookies.
Why we may use it
- Your basket, and sending it to the official shop when you ask: to give you what you asked for.
- The record of your cookie choice: a legal obligation, to show that we asked.
- Anonymous statistics: our legitimate interest in improving the site; they identify no one, and you can switch them off.
- Keeping the site safe and working, which our hosting providers do with technical data such as your IP address: our legitimate interest.
Who receives it
Our hosting providers (Railway, in the EU, and Cloudflare); and the official shop, run by dōTERRA (Europe) Ltd, Altius House, 1 North Fourth Street, Milton Keynes MK9 1DG, when you choose to open it.
When a page fails to load, your browser may send Cloudflare, our network provider, a short error report with the page’s address (network error logging). It is used only to keep the network working.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Cookie choices: as long as your choice lasts, and three years after.
Technical logs kept by our hosting providers, such as IP addresses: up to 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your data, receive a copy of it to take elsewhere, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time in Cookie settings. You can also complain to the Information Commission (ico.org.uk).
