The scent
Steam-distilled from the leaves of the coriander plant; the oil sold as Coriander comes from its seeds. It is sharp, green and herbaceous, with a light citrus snap that softens into a fresh, leafy finish.
It sits well beside bergamot or geranium, and a little cedarwood gives it a woodier base. A bright green note for a sunny windowsill on a spring morning.
