The scent
Steam-distilled from the dark blue berries of the juniper shrub, a hardy evergreen with prickly needles. It is crisp and piney, with a fresh, faintly spicy edge over a gentle woodiness.
It sits well beside cedarwood for a drier, woodier feel, or lavender for a softer one, and bergamot gives it a brighter opening. A fresh scent for the hallway on bright winter mornings.
