The scent
Steam-distilled from the leaves of lemongrass, a tall, clumping grass with long, slender blades. It is zingy and grassy, with a sharp lemon note and a faint, smoky warmth underneath.
It sits well beside lavender or geranium for a softer feel, and cedarwood gives it a deeper base. A bright, green scent for the hallway on spring mornings, before the day gets busy.
