The scent
Steam-distilled from the leaves of lemon balm, also called melissa, a leafy herb whose name comes from the Greek for honey bee. It is soft, lemony and green, with a delicate herbal sweetness that stays light as it settles.
It sits well beside lavender or geranium, and rose gives it a richer floral heart. A light, lemony scent for a sunny windowsill on a spring morning.
Directions for use
Topical: For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml carrier oil.
For bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml carrier oil.
For perfuming, mix 1 drop to 10 drops carrier oil.
For topical use only.
