The scent
Distilled from the resin of the small myrrh tree, whose sap hardens into a glossy, amber-coloured resin. Its scent is earthy and warm, a little smoky and bittersweet, with a dry, woody depth.
It sits well beside frankincense or sandalwood, and wild orange gives it a brighter edge. A deep scent for the living room by lamplight in winter, on long evenings in.
Directions for use
Topical: For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml carrier oil.
For bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml carrier oil.
For perfuming, mix 1 drop to 10 drops carrier oil.
For topical use only.
