The scent
An oil from tulsi, the plant also known as holy basil, a small, bushy shrub with lavender-hued flowers. Its scent is warm and sweet, like freshly cut basil with a hint of clove, and stays green and spicy as it settles.
It sits well beside lavender or wild orange, and a little cedarwood gives it a woodier base. A warm, herbal scent for a reading nook on a slow morning.
Directions for use
For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml carrier oil.
For bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml carrier oil.
For perfuming, mix 1 drop to 10 drops carrier oil.
For topical use only.
